Q : Tell us a little bit about yourself. Your background, education, your business or entrepreneurship passion etc. ??

LadyBoss-TableTalk : I come from a family of entrepreneurs. So, from a young age I developed a passion for entrepreneurship! My mom bought me my first book on starting a business when I was in the 4th grade, because I had such an obvious love for entrepreneurialism.

I actually, went to school for the merchandising side of fashion and minored in marketing. However, I was a horrible student, because I was balancing more than I probably should have been. Plus, anything that I have really learned about business and marketing has been self-taught or learned “on the job”.

My rising business LadyBoss-TableTalk came from a trip to Kentucky where a group of women got word about my business skills and wanted information/help in starting up their own businesses from their hobbies.

I did a workshop at my friends, mothers’ home on how to begin building a small business with those women. Afterwards, the term “LadyBoss-TableTalk” popped into my head. We were all seated around a table as we talked about business principles and personal development tips for getting over fear to start pursuing their dreams!

That night inspired me to start LadyBoss-TableTalk, creating digital products centered around bite size business building lessons that anyone can execute. While also providing digital materials that help feed the soul and conquer the inner and outer roadblocks to constructing a thriving business and overall life.

Q : We been hearing a lot about LadyBoss-TableTalk, so we notice your starting to gain a lot of attention how does it feel?

LadyBoss : It feels really good. It is very easy in this time of our culture to “create fame” or visibility with all these different platforms, to fulfill an emotional need. My prayer is to provide true and lasting value to people’s’ lives and businesses. THAT is what feels really good to me. Helping people.

Q : What has been one of the most exciting achievements of your career so far ?

LadyBoss : Choices. I have lived most of my adult life having to choose the first thing available to me. Now, I have more breathing room to wait for better options or to explore multiple options at one time.

Q : What’s your goal in life you want to achieve next?

LadyBoss : To be a venture capitalist. I want to give the right people resources to execute their own business, dream or project. From their I do have dreams of acting, writing songs and producing short films. Eventually, to marry to someone of like calling and spirit.

Q : What kind of business training have you had, if any ?

LadyBoss : Well, I did get my degree on the business side of fashion. However, hardly any of that knowledge was applicable to my real-life experiences within business settings. I have spent thousands of dollars over the years educating myself in a plethora of ways.
I am ALWAYS learning something in the realm of business.

I did have great “Best Practice” training while working for Disney in recent years. As well as training, that has led me to do corporate business trainings for major government agencies.

Q : What motivates you to do your best work as a LadyBoss ?

LadyBoss : Your gift will make room for you. Meaning, whatever I am good at if I do it with excellence to the benefit of others, it opens up more doors of opportunity. Which means more opportunities to be of value and help to more people. That’s what motivates me.

Q : Did you choose this industry, as a career, or as a hobby?

LadyBoss : I have always been wrapped up in entrepreneurship, since childhood. My parents were always involved in business building opportunities. I don’t really know life without it.

Q : Everybody needs time out. What do you do in your free time?

LadyBoss : Well, it almost always involves food! I love spending time with friends. It can be as simple as sitting in the living chit chatting or watching a chick flick to going on trips. I just came back from Nashville and Cincinnati with friends. In a couple of weeks, a group of us will be meeting in Seattle!
